Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance, instruction, and assessment.
- Communicate with parents and board members.
- Attend regular team and Departmental meetings.
- Promote and ensure quality teaching and effective learning.
- The Instruction Supervisor is in charge of the academic content for a group of instructors.
- They ensure that students are classed appropriately, and placed at the right level.
- They ensure the teachers prepare for their lessons to a high standard.
- Assess, write reports, and Monitor Student progress.
- Conduct informal / diagnostic and formal/ evaluative class visits.
- Give teachers corrective feedback and remedial procedures when needed.
- Ensure that the instructional programs engage the learner in tasks that require analytical and critical thinking, questioning the known, problem-solving, and creativity.
- Analyze assessment results.
- Apply the Common Core Standards and approved curricula.
- Handle assigned tasks from the management team.
Working Conditions:
- 8 Working Hours (12:00PM-8:00PM) or (1:00PM-9:00PM)
- 5 Working days per week
- 2 Days off
