Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The Network and Voice Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability and integrity of clients’ in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services through installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training.
Job Responsibilities:
- Installation and Configuration of Network and Voice devices
- Installation and Configuration of IP Cameras and NVR
- Site survey for network
- Perform periodic maintenance visits
- Install, Configure and Troubleshoot network devices like routers, switches and Access points
- Install, Configure and Troubleshoot voice systems, Call recording and IP Phones
- Install, Configure and Troubleshoot IP cameras and NVR
- Install, Configure and Troubleshoot the UPS
- Presales for IP camera to put the best solution for customer
- Presales UPS engineer to put the best UPS solution for customer
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree – Major IT, communications or computer science
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
- Proven experience with VOIP phone systems.
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
- Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits
