Planning Supervisor

1. Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Review and validate sales forecasts in collaboration with Sales & Marketing teams.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities.
• Improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
• Monitor forecast vs. actual performance and adjust planning parameters.

2. Production Planning

• Develop short-term and mid-term production plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• Ensure optimal utilization of production capacity and resources.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing to resolve capacity constraints.
• Monitor adherence to production schedules.

3. Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels (Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Goods).
• Minimize stock-outs, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
• Monitor slow-moving and near-expiry products.
• Ensure safety stock levels are properly maintained.

4. Supply Coordination

• Coordinate with Procurement for raw material availability.
• Work closely with Warehouse & Distribution to ensure timely dispatch.
• Support new product launches and promotional activities with adequate supply planning.

5. Reporting & KPI Management

• Track and report KPIs such as:
• Forecast Accuracy
• Service Level / OTIF
• Inventory Turnover
• Days of Inventory
• Production Plan Adherence
• Prepare monthly planning reports and performance dashboards.

6. Team Supervision

• Supervise and guide planning officers/analysts.
• Ensure compliance with planning processes and SOPs.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
