Job Description
- Working alongside the functional team and the Solution Architect to streamline and optimize the user requirements, design solutions based on strict rules of AX coding procedures.
- Present technical specifications, documentation, diagrams, flow charts, and PowerBi
- Optimize the code via builds and deployment procedures to elevate efficiency to pass up for approval.
- Test all unique customization before passing along to higher stages and forwarding to quality assurance.
- Identify problems, supply solutions, determine If corrections are the most efficient options.
- Follow strict company guidelines and procedures, maintaining structural steps in rollout of all adjustments and implementations.
- Flexible with work hours, determined by the urgent current need.
- Commit to total ownership of projects, deadlines, and requirements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Degree/Certification/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related business/technical discipline is required.
- A minimum of 3+ years Dynamics AX technical design and development experience (X++, C#, SSRS and BI development).
- Candidates should have participated in a minimum of 1-2 full life cycle Dynamics AX implementations projects in a role of a Developer, Technical consultants or Technical Architect.
- Experience in MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and D365 for Finance & Operations.
- Experience with Visual Studio and in .NET development.
- Experience in complex integration development (web services, DIXF, .net custom client-server applications, knowledge of standard web services and integration protocols – oData, SOAP, JSON, REST, SSIS, T-SQL, Azure logic apps).
- Experience in performance optimization (X++ application code, troubleshooting AX components, LCS Environment monitoring, SQL performance optimization).
- Experience with two or more MS Dynamics functional areas, preferably: Finance, Trade & Logistics, Projects, and other modules.
- Professional certificates or advanced degrees are desirable.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Solid technology skills with emphasis on Microsoft based technologies to include most (but not necessarily all) – database modeling / design (Microsoft SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Views, SSRS), development frameworks and methodologies (.NET, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, X++, MVC, HTML, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, Style Sheets, XML and XSD, IIS, Object Oriented Design, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), Software support tools (Visual Studio, SSMS), Application integration frameworks (BizTalk, Web Services, Microsoft SSIS), Software Testing and Configuration Management tools and techniques.
- Competent to work on most phases of applications programming activities (analysis, design, testing, deployment) including documentation and technical writing.
- Demonstrates principles of quality customer service, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and flexible enough to work with different technical skill levels and skill sets.
- Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented while having the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Gains the confidence of key personnel through value-added work product.
