Job Description
- Reviews and coordinates projects' design submittals from contractors, as well as following up on variation orders for the client.
- Reviews technical submissions and design layouts as well as material submittals from contractors.
- Leads the team of multi-disciplinary engineers by delegating work according to specialism, project priorities, technical challenges, and contractual milestones.
- Plans and maintains project budgets and schedules planning activities with team and managers.
- Attends progress and technical meetings to discuss and suggest technical proposals.
- Takes part in project and risk management reviews.
- Coordinates between the construction and contractors’ teams ensuring that all requirements are conveyed clearly and delivered upon.
- Coordinates with quantity surveyors and payment appreciations and change orders.
- Supervises the review and approvals of shop drawings, material submittals with respect to the project specifications and standards of progress submitted by contractors.
- Continually reviews the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works
- Reviews the contractor’s List of Deliverables (drawings' submittal, designs, and materials) as well as ensuring compliance with the contract and project requirements.
- Liaises with the project control manager on the performance measures related to the technical part.
- Supports review of subcontractors' invoices, when required for technical assistance.
- Monitors the contracts, tenders, financial reports of TMG's projects.
- Maintains organized and detailed project records to develop the recovery program.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Engineering.
- Excellent command of English.
- Proficient use of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Exposure to hospitality and residential projects is a plus.
