Automation Engineer

Principal Accountabilities

• Supporting plant performance KPIs through control, support & maintain the reliability of the Instrumentation and Automation systems in the plant.
• Planning for regular instrumentation verifications and calibration to insure plant reliability.
• Provide solid technical knowledge to plant projects to insure proper design and implementation of projects target.
• Makes plant tours, collects, and handles improvement ideas and promotes an innovative environment, ensures compliance with all   business unit /facility policies and procedures as related to automation.
• Utilize technical skills and operations experience to promote the identification and solution of workplace problems and stays on top of managing changes.
• Monitor, maintain repair and upgrade plant automation network (including PLCs, servers, switches, PC’s, client-network connection) within the boundaries of budget to ensure process control and continuity.
