Job Description

  • Studies, researches, and plans various styles of furniture design in line with the track of market trends.
  • Meets with Sales Engineer and client (Retail or B2B) to identify product specifications & list client requirements for custom order (Product customization).
  • Conducts site visits (when needed) to measure exact area dimensions and floor plan from a customer's location.
  • Designs location floor plan using computer-aided applications and send to Sales engineer to secure approval from the client prior to execution (Optional.)
  • Sketches and creates designs for custom products to meet technical specifications and client requirements.
  • Selects suitable materials, which might include wood, metal, and fabrics that best match client requirements.
  • Prepares detailed final designs, shop drawings and lists product parts, requirements, and accessories, and sends to direct manager for approval.
  • Develops a bill of material (BoM) and sends it to the direct manager for review and approval prior to sending it to the accounting department for cost.
  • Meets/communicates with the client to secure approval on the final design, product measurements, accessories, and parts.
  • Updates final drawings (if needed) based on the client’s feedback and coordinates with showroom Sales Engineers to prepare the job orders for production.
  • Aligns with sales and production teams with new order implementation and follows up on the completion and delivery. 
  • Oversees the production process in line with the delivery date, to ensure product matches design and drawings.
  • Uploads all files and drawings related to each custom product on the No Limits shared folder.
  • Maintains excellent customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Applied Arts or Fine Arts (Interior design)
  • 5+ years of previous experience in a Furniture industry
  • Good Command of English Language.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD and/or similar drawing and design applications.
