Senior Civil Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget, on schedule and in compliance with the regulations.
• Provide on-site leadership, coordinating and supervising construction activities, subcontractors and laborers, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Apply your in-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials and techniques to provide guidance, solve technical challenges and ensure compliance with design specifications and industry best practices.
• Monitor and assess construction quality, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective measures to maintain high standards and minimize defects or deficiencies.
• Manage and optimize the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment and materials, to ensure efficient project execution and cost control.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, including work schedules, milestones achieved and any challenges or delays encountered, to project stakeholders and management.
• Assess and manage changes to project scope, timeline or specifications, ensuring proper documentation, impact analysis and communication with relevant parties.
• Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to address design issues, resolve conflicts and ensure smooth project implementation.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence, ensuring proper record-keeping for future reference and compliance purposes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff, fostering their professional growth and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
