GFC ltd. is an Oil & Gas / Energy services company based in Cairo with various world class customer in MENA and South America. Specialized in rotating and static equipment maintenance and installations.
Currently we are seeking to hire a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. The role will be based on site responsibilities as follows:
All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers site. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for field resource deployment and supervising execution to meet customer and business metrics.
- Interface with the customer and service managers on issues escalation.
- Promote and ensure compliance to company and regulatory EHS & Quality requirements .
- Managing and supervising the field service resources on site (technicians , tools ) for different projects.
- Site based coordination , supervision and permit issuance on plant.
- Preparing for the activities for the whole project.
- Handing communications with the customer and different departments in the company to ensure quality excellence and preparations prior to activity kick off.
- Online cost tracking and auditing of all project related expenses.
- Site and customer visits to follow up and supervise the execution.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas / Energy sectors , min 2 years
- Strong Knowledge of rotating equipment is essential.
- Previous experience in related role / managerial position is preferred.
- Previous experience in project management is Preferred.
- Willing to Travel - Site based position.
- Arabic and English fluency spoken and written.
- Excellent Email communication and Knowledge of MS office.
