Job Description
- Introduces new services and expands business opportunities within customer accounts
- Maintains and grows a book of business (e.g., ground, air, international, freight)
- Prepare and conduct customer visits, calls presentations, negotiation & contracts
- Have continued engagement with customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts
- Secure existing client & new customers who have not previously used our services.
- Organize, update and keep records of customer information
- Conduct negotiations with the customer and pricing department to reach agreeable rates
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Tracks sales performance to objectives
- Utilizes resources and account history to prepare for sales calls
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of related freight sales experience
- Job knowledge and experience.
- Highly motivated.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Problem solving and decision making skills.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
