Job Description
- Review, supervise and verify the structure design with the technical office team during all its phases and make sure the codes and regulations are met during the construction phase.
- Work closely with project Director to establish project timelines and designs on site.
- Work on site closely with the subcontractors to execute project based on outlined criteria.
- Issue all structure shop drawings for the contractor according to the time schedule and ensure all design engineering procedures and project specifications are followed and follow up on site in the implementation phase.
- Review the work progress on site on daily basis.
- Ensure quality construction standards are met and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Ensure that all drawings, documentation and records in use are reviewed, approved by the Technical office team with respect to the project Specification and Standards of practice.
- Provide technical assistance and respond to subcontractor’s inquiries on site that is relate to construction project.
- Prepare time schedule for executed work versus planned and report it to the Project Director.
- Prepare work requisition for all required permanent materials, and review material submittals and follow-up of the approval process.
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Job Requirements
- BSc/BA in Civil engineering from reputable university
- From 8-10 years of experience as Civil Technical Engineer
- Understanding of construction procedures and material.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
