Job Description
- Work closely with project team members to perform the following tasks using a combination of business understanding, Technical Knowledge, problem-solving skills as well as excellent leadership and facilitation techniques
- Manage and build client relationships with key decision-makers from project inception to post-implementation; ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor on-site and remote day-to-day activities between the customer and PM team.
- Review progress on projects managed by our partner network and utilize built partner and customer relationships to enable successful project outcomes.
- Provide project management information to the customer in line with company standards. This will include, but is not limited to; financial reports, status reports, work plans, issue lists, agreed actions, risk notification, impact resolution plans, and lessons learned reports.
- Define and own corrective action plans and escalations in the event of any deviation from the project plan.
- Lead project/client/business partner meetings and conference calls.
- Maximizes the utilization of team, preparing alternative work for periods without projects.
- Continually expand knowledge and education in localization trends and news.
- Develops new and entry-level through training and coaching opportunities and by creating methodologies, tools, and checklists to improve the project management process.
- Ensure that our entire PM database is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure issuing all PO’s (payment orders) to the external resources.
- Handle a variety of non-recurring special assignments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in handling complex technical Projects in a multi-vendor project environment (preferably in the localization industry).
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent presentation/communication skills, with the ability to clearly present the localization life cycle to clients.
- Organizational, Problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem- solving capabilities.
- Excellent team-building, coaching, and motivation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in translation memory tools (Trados, SDLX) is required.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
