Job Description
- Prepare/Review shop drawings, and as-built drawings & all details.
- Make Quantity Surveying for all materials required in the project.
- Ensure the distribution of the approved shop drawings.
- Responsible for the front & back of house areas and related shop drawings.
- Attend Technical meetings to discuss the architectural and structural conflicts with tender design and take it in consideration with the project requirements.
- Helping in solving site problems according to the approved workshop drawings.
Working hard to reach the deadline date for the workshop drawings with the construction schedule. - Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate in
approval process with the project consultant. - Coordinate structural, electrical, and mechanical designs, and determine a method of presentation to graphically represent building plans.
- Coordination with the MEP drawings.
- Coordination with the Site Engineers/ Surveyors / subcontractors / consultant.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction.
- Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to lists of materials.
- Make and reply to letters from project manager and Consultant.
- Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project.
- Submit Taking over Certificates (TOC) including (Clearance of IRs, JSI, NCRs logs-Testing & Commissioning Log-Warranties-Manuals- as Used Material-Defects Liability Period-Boreholes Reports) to the project owner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree of architecture .
- Experience in finishing works and Excellent in (3D max -Auto-cad-Photoshop).
- Work-ability in the office and the site.
- Has work experience in Commercial Malls is a plus.
- Architectural, Structural, Landscape & MEP package.
