Job Description

  • Securing a speedy and appropriate supply of parts in order to provide effective support for all the workshops/dealers and meet the expectations of customers.
  •  Ensure that the image of the spare parts service contributes to the company branding as the best service provider
  •  Create a purposeful organisation structure. It includes:
    Planning and determining the optimum load of storage rooms
    Planning and determining the optimum number of employees
    Planning and determining the optimum equipment with all the required technical systems and work equipment
  •  Monitor and analyse the major customer satisfaction values for the spare parts service from the CSS.
  •  Monitor and analyse the behavior of customers and competition in the spare parts and accessories market.
  •  Monitor competitor offers in the various spare parts areas and with accessories.
  •  Develop proposals for measures by the spare parts service in order to react quickly to developments in the behavior of customers and competitors.
  •  Implement of strategies to increase the share if the spare parts service market.
  •  Define/propose prices suited to the market for the various services and customer groups (e.g. segment II/III).
  •  Monthly monitor and analyse the results relevant to parts business.
  •  Establish individuals and overall parts inventory levels and balance them for maximum turn over.
  •  Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence.
  •  Supervise of the whole orders procedure.
  •  Monitor and analyse individual costs, personnel costs and direct operating cost.
  •  Monitor and analyse all spare parts service figures. Assets in analysing departmental operations and storage layout and revises as need for maximum effectiveness.
  •  Check for economic efficiency in spare parts service procedure.
  •  Manage, instruct, inform and motivate subordinate employees, in order to support the objective of becoming the best service provider with enthusiastic, motivated and well qualified spare parts service employees.
  •  Ensure optimum cooperation between dealer’s parts staff and between workshops and spare parts service employees.
  •  Hold regular meetings as a basis of uniform quality slandered and implementation of agreed procedure.
  •  Secure an organization structure tailored to the task in hand. Planning and defining the best possible utilization of premises, allocation of employees, best possible equipment.
  • Plan and defining a rational storage, handling technique, use of all available systems and tools for economical and speedy stocking, procurement and movement and procedure to ensure smooth delivery to all dealers.
  •  Inform executive management about all opportunities for improvements, proposals and plans in the spare parts area.

Job Requirements

  • Education : B sc. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience: 7 to 10 years in service operation in a reputable dealership of which 3 years should be in a Managerial capacity.
