Job Description
- Oversee the Hardware and Software functionality and needs across the organization
- Manage a highly professional team of both hardware/networking and developers, ensuring continued growth and development for team members
- Ensure smooth running of the hardware (company assets) and system applications
- Work closely with third parties and stakeholders to deliver features across multiple projects and teams efficiently
- Responsible for setting strategic direction for enterprise solutions and ensuring integration within the overall business architecture
- Design and propose advanced technical solutions to enhance performance and mitigate potential systems' malfunctions
- Run regular checks on network and data security
- Prepare and share regular operation system reports with senior staff
- Secure and protect data and monitor the data flow
- Determine and monitor timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
- Identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Computer science/ Computer Engineering/information system
- 15+ years of Accumulated software development experience in a business/production setting
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Business Suite
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and a strong ability to prioritize
- A firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
- Excellent Managerial and coaching skills
