Job Description
- Teach skills through effectively planned practices at a level appropriate for each member of the team.
- Supervise athletes before, during, and immediately after practices and games.
- Offer support to help students and the team reach their goals.
- Planning and delivering lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and cater to the varying abilities of the students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional assistance in developing their physical skills.
- Promote a positive and supportive environment that encourages students to participate in physical activity and adopt healthy lifestyle habits.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures for the University are enforced.
Job Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in sports coaching, physical education, or a related field are desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of a variety of sports and the ability to adapt activities to suit different groups and skill levels.
