Job Description
Coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers
Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks
Scan orders into computer and track shipments across multiple channels
Approve time sheets associated with deliveries and pick-ups
Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data.
Manage and monitor the performance of entire fleet, routing and scheduling planning
Analyzing business operations and identifying customer needs in order to bring the two closer together
Tracking and analyzing important reports. Examples of such reports are budgets, operation activity and department metrics
Once the Operations Specialist has decided on the most beneficial course of action, they must decide the role that each different company department must play
Determine trends and variances and identify areas in which positive changes can be made.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business (preferred)
Prior Work Experience:
1-3 years previous experience in logistics management
Language Proficiency:
Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software preferred
Great interpersonal skills
Well-developed motivational and leadership skills
