About TEDs
The Egyptian Developers (TEDs) is an Official Odoo Partner based in Cairo, delivering Odoo ERP implementations, eCommerce platforms, and mobile applications. Our projects are large and multi-module: retail, eCommerce, wholesale, and finance-led implementations, including Saudi ZATCA e-invoicing.

The opportunity
We are looking for a senior, certified Odoo Implementation Consultant to lead functional delivery on large implementations. You will work with our project management, development, and design teams, own the client relationship on the functional side, and take projects from discovery to a stable go-live.
This is a hybrid, project-based engagement: you are engaged per project, with a fee agreed upfront and paid by milestone. Work is mainly remote, with on-site workshops at our office or at client sites when needed.
What you will do
Analysis and design
- Lead discovery workshops with executives, department heads and process owners
- Map As-Is workflows and design To-Be processes with each department
- Write Business Requirement Documents (BRD), fit-gap analyses, and Scope of Work documents, with clear acceptance criteria for every requirement
- Recommend standard Odoo first, then Studio, and custom development only where it is truly needed
Implementation
- Configure Odoo Enterprise end-to-end: accounting, inventory, purchase, sales, eCommerce, CRM, helpdesk and marketing
- Implement localisation, VAT and e-invoicing, including Saudi ZATCA Phase 2
- Write functional specifications for the development team, review custom features and validate integrations (payment gateways, delivery carriers, messaging)
- Build workflows, approvals, automations, and reports with Odoo Studio
- Create management dashboards that support data-driven decisions
Data, testing and go-live
- Plan and run data migration: audit, cleansing, import templates, reconciliation and exception reports for large product catalogues, customers, suppliers and opening balances
- Prepare functional test scenarios, run UAT with key users and track defects to closure
- Support major-version upgrades and post-upgrade testing
Training and handover
- Train key users and end users, and write SOP manuals and user guides
- Monitor usage after go-live, close gaps and provide first-line functional support
- Report progress to management and keep the project register, timesheets, and decisions up to date
Job Requirements
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Odoo implementation experience
- Valid Odoo certification, version 18 or 19 (a verifiable certification link is required)
- At least 3 full-cycle implementations delivered from discovery to go-live, each with 20+ modules or multi-branch / multi-company operations, and live on production servers today
- Expert knowledge of Odoo accounting: multi-currency, analytic accounting, taxes, bank reconciliation, and period closing
- Expert knowledge of Odoo inventory and supply chain: multi-warehouse, routes, lots and expiry dates, replenishment and valuation
- Strong experience with Odoo Website and eCommerce
- Hands-on experience with Odoo.sh: branches, staging, deployments and backups
- Proven ability to write BRDs, workflow diagrams, functional specifications and test scripts
- Proven experience with large data migrations
- Excellent Arabic and English, written and spoken
- Able and willing to travel for project work, inside and outside Egypt
Strong advantages
- Saudi ZATCA Phase 2 or other e-invoicing implemented in a live project
- Retail, wholesale (B2B), real estate, construction, or multi-branch implementations
- Experience with payment gateways (Moyasar, Tap, HyperPay, PayTabs, Tamara, Tabby) or carriers (SMSA, Aramex)
- Live projects with Subscriptions, Appointments, Helpdesk, or Marketing Automation
- Technical understanding: Python, the Odoo ORM, XML views, QWeb, OWL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with major-version upgrades
- Pre-sales experience: demos and solution presentations
- Project management experience

5. Each project is covered by a contract that includes a confidentiality agreement (NDA) and the assignment of all project work to the company.
6. The work must be delivered by you personally. Subcontracting is not permitted.
7. Shortlisted candidates complete a technical interview and a practical Odoo case review.
