Job Description
Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger accounts.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in compliance with accounting principles and internal control procedures.
Monitor and analyze general ledger transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues.
Manage fixed assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations. Ensure accurate recording of fixed asset transactions and compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortizations, prepaid expenses, Accruals and provisions
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.
Participates in the monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
Process expense reports
Assists in audit process.
Performs any other duties or any tasks assigned to him by management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
3–5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience in journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
Experience in monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
Good knowledge of fixed assets accounting and bank reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
