OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling booking requests, inquiries, and customer service for a diving center. This role includes assisting clients with dive trip reservations, providing information about diving packages, equipment rentals, and offering general assistance to ensure a seamless experience from booking through the dive trip. The Reservation Agent will work closely with the dive team and administration to manage daily operations related to bookings and customer communications.
TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Booking Management:
- Handle reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
- Confirm bookings and process any necessary documentation, payments, or deposits.
- Update the reservation system and maintain an organized booking calendar.
Customer Service:
- Provide detailed information about available dive packages, courses, and special offers.
- Address customer inquiries about diving schedules, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to any customer issues or complaints and escalate them as necessary.
Coordination with Dive Team:
- Communicate booking details and guest requirements with dive instructors and staff.
- Coordinate special requests, such as private tours, group dives, or customized dive packages.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer information.
- Assist in managing rental equipment inventory and prepare dive-related documents.
- Generate daily and weekly reservation reports for regional manager.
Sales & Promotions:
- Promote dive packages, courses, and special offers to potential customers.
- Upsell additional services, such as equipment rentals, private sessions, or certification courses.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in reservations or customer service is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of diving and related equipment is a plus
- Proficiency in booking software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English, German, Italian, French, Polish, or other languages
- Excited to work with people and be part of a dynamic team!
- Skilled at communicating, enjoy interacting with others, and bring a positive attitude to
their work. - Proficient with basic computer skills.
- Strong negotiators who can handle inquiries with professionalism and care.
