We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations within the FMCG Manufacturing Sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting, with the ability to refine and enhance our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and oversee timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting, providing variance analysis and insights to management.
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Implement and maintain effective cost accounting systems to track production costs and enhance profitability analysis.
• Supervise inventory accounting and valuation to ensure accurate reporting of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, preparing necessary documentation and facilitating the audit process.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing ongoing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT and income tax.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and guidelines.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and ERP systems, particularly SAP, to streamline processes.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements, implementing strategies to optimize liquidity and financial health.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to align financial goals with operational objectives.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and best practices.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to top management, highlighting KPIs and trends.
• Organize and lead training sessions for staff on accounting best practices and updates in financial regulations.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as directed by top management to support business growth.
