Job Description

  • Editorial & Publishing: 
  • Implement monthly and yearly publishing plans according to the instructions of the Cultural Publishing Consultant.
  • Receive novel submissions via email and forward them to the reading committee.
  • Prepare summary reports on novels based on the reading committee's feedback or reports.
  • Monitor the reading committee's progress and prepare reports on their work.
  • Send emails to authors regarding the acceptance or rejection of their work.
  • Follow up with authors, including managing revisions and resubmitting works to the technical department.
  • Monitor the production process of both technical and administrative books, overseeing their electronic and print publication.
  • Create novel reports for printing, including quantities and series.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Responsible for all administrative tasks and coordination with finance and legal departments.
  • Create and maintain the daily agenda.
  • Schedule and organize meetings.
  • Follow up with the law department to finalize all related contracts.
  • Follow up with the finance department to finalize all payments and contract payments.
  • Purchase all necessary items for events.
  • Handle visitor reception.
  •  Marketing & Communications: 
  • Conduct research related to novels.
  • Coordinate with a marketing agency on (Egyptian novel) pages.
  • Coordinate with social media agencies and novel applications (Abjad, Storytell, Audiohat) to create marketing campaigns for new novel releases.
  •  Production & Quality Control: 
  • Create work orders.
  • Follow up with the technical department.
  • Follow up with Quality Control (QC).
  • Follow up with (CTP) department.
  • Financial Management: 
  • Responsible for custody and its monthly reconciliation with finance.
  • Apply HSE regulations.
