Job Description

Job Purpose:

 Oversees a variety of aspects related to a company’s employees. Provide orientation to newly hired employees on the rules and regulations. Arrange files and documentation of all employees in the company. These records are important documents, such as personnel transactions, insurance coverage, and pension plans. Also compile compensation and benefits of the employee, and give disciplinary actions.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for all Personnel activities and dealing with government authorities, such as labor office, social insurance authorities, and medical insurance, and keep good relations and communication channels with them.
  • Handling all Hiring process, starting from preparing employee file, social insurance form 1,2,6 and create employees bank accounts and any other relevant tasks.
  • Follow-up to maintain employees' hiring documents completed.
  • Ensure that all HR Practices are complying with Labor Law regulations.
  • Manage the legislative processes with the legal entities (Labor office, social insurance, etc.) and maintain the implementation of laws and regulations dealing with government offices.
  • Responsible for preparing the monthly payroll data, including the newcomers, the final settlement for resigned employees, any deductions, or compensations, etc.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, promotions, or assignments
  • Track employees' absences (regular/irregular), and take the required disciplinary action upon company policy.
  • Receive, review, and audit the attendance sheets for all employees and send final sheet accordingly.
  • Monitor staff annual leave balances and any other vacations to maintain full compliance with the Egyptian labor law and attendance policy.
  • Handle the internal investigations with employees to implement the proper disciplinary actions in accordance with the labor law and internal policies and procedures when needed.
  • Handle all the medical insurance issues
  • Follow up on the HR database and regularly update for employee’s personal information.
  • Prepare and review the monthly payroll including overtimes, benefits, deductions, loans and all related issues on time every month and ensure that the payroll system is in line with the income tax and social insurance laws, in addition to the coordination and follow-up with the finance department for the transfer of the amounts to the employees' bank accounts in addition to preparing a monthly salary report.
  • Ensure all aspects of the payroll cycle including taxes, insurance benefits, etc. are processed, checked, and transmitted accurately and timely
  • Maintain personnel database regarding salaries and oversee salary changes, deductions, bonuses, etc.
  • Managing personnel team to ensure the full respect of procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, accounting, or any other relevant field.
  • Solid experience in processing payroll at a multicultural company and handling personnel issues
  • Previous background and experience in ERP modules and/or payroll software
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, “Excellent in Excel”
  • Understand the human resources policies and procedures
  • Solid background and knowledge of employment/labor laws and taxes
  • Very good in English language.
  • Well organized and time management skills
