Job Description
- Works with senior and fellow engineers to develop alternatives and options for further development of projects and products.
- Responsible for reporting progress of all assigned tasks to the head department and.
- Implements specific plumbing & firefighting and mechanical engineering works in accordance with the work program of a project or as requested within his Section.
- Organizes and supervises the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to him and provides relevant support and/or advice to project teams as applicable.
- Responsible for efficient and effective design of plumbing & firefighting and mechanical engineering works, preparation of drawings, contract documents, etc.
- Verifies that all designs, drawings and documents are to current codes and standards and in accordance with PCE policies and manuals.
- Liaises as directed with consulting engineers, and/or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
- Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Plumbing & Fire Fighting Section Head or his responsible Principal Plumbing & Fire Fighting Engineer, as applicable.
- Producing complicated drawings and charts in a specialized field, involving planning, layout, bill of materials, etc. for major installations.
- Responsible for generation of Assembly drawings and bills of materials.
- Responsible for meeting design to cost figures.
- Responsible for carrying out design change requests in a timely manner.
- Participates in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs and codes.
Job Requirements
- Experience from (3-7) years in mechanical design (fire&plumbing).
- Excellent at using auto cad.
- Ability to work individual in a team.
- Ability to work to tight deadline with quality.
- Public Universes graduates with at least very good grade is preferred.
- PCE Academy graduates is preferred.
