About us:

  • We are a US based logistics company that focus on trucking industry, we moving freight allover the US. We are starting a service center in Cairo, Egypt to support our office in the US

Expectations:

  • Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Update and Summarize receivables
  • Verify validity of account discrepancies.
  • Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Generate and review AR aging to ensure compliance
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare financial statements on time
  • Handle closing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns (Provide CPA with required data)
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations

Job Requirements

 

  • Excellent English skills must be very fluent speaking in English. 
  • It is the main requirement. { Avoiding the voice questions will automatically disqualify your application }
  • QuickBooks experience is a big plus. 
  • Looking for advanced Microsoft Excel skills with wide use of functions and graphical output is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree of Commerce (accounting major)
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Ability to multi-task and carry out multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to be an effective team member
  • The ability to respond to communicate in effective English language; verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Programs
  • Great Organization skills and ability to multi-task
