Job Description
- Develop & implement a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics in line with Marketing Manager
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
- Perform frequent customer segmentation analysis identifying the targeted customers' profiles for each Business line
- Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests
- Create content strategy for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results, Activations & On ground activities on a quarterly basis.
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
- Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
- Maintain a keen understanding of the organization’s trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Achieve SOV (Share of Voice) targets.
- Achieve engagement targets.
- Achieve number of articles published targets.
- Achieve AVE (advertising value equivalent) targets
- Responsible for all international fairs, trade shows and conference activities in Egypt and overseas operating marketing projects as required.
- Implementation strategy within the marketing department, ATL, BTL, events and sponsorship management
Job Requirements
- Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Event planning experience
- Strong and proven analytical skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Excellent Communication skill
- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience.
- Proven working experience in public relations required
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
