Job Description
- Prepare balance sheet report and develop corrective action to ensure it is aligned with accounting standards.
- Ensures on-time collection of the company’s receivables to increase cash liquidity.
- Monitors the compliance of each department expenditure with its set budget to ensure that budget deviation are properly recorded and reported.
- Support Tax, Treasury and Accounting departments
- Review and approve all closing reports to the accounting team to ensure accurate data and close the current month.
- Create, define a new GL account on the finance system as per department SOPs.
- Review all bank reconciliation and its document comparing with the bank statement.
- Prepare & review all requirements related to external audits to ensure meeting all audit requirements and support external audits.
- Review balance sheet provided from External Audit to issue the final Balance Sheet to be used for company different purposes.
- Preparing monthly (Values Added Tax) VAT report & analysis to be delivered and paid on-time to Tax Authorities.
- Preparing form No. 41 regarding withholding tax to be delivered and paid on-time to Tax Authorities.
- Resolve any conflicts with the tax authorities to save the company from any penalties.
- Handle all system entries related to taxes to apply department SOPs
- Respond to any inquires related to Taxes and their calculations to colleagues and any stakeholders.
- Prepare Tax Status Report regarding company situation of taxes payment and inspection to be authorized from Tax Consultant.
- Ensure and review VAT (Value-Added Tax) on company expenses to ensure alignment with updated laws and regulations. Follow-up latest updates of tax laws and regulations and ensure effective implementation to save the company from any risks.
- Develop all needed reports to be submitted to the direct manager.
- Perform any other assigned tasks as required by the direct manager within the same level of responsibility.
- Follow the instructions, requirements of quality, safety, and occupational health.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, major Accounting or Finance
- 6-8 Years’year financial, commercial, and market experience in accounting/analytical roles with Retail relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Knowledge of business performance evaluation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Experience. / ERP System preferable (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Problem Solving Skills
- Good internal/external communicator being able to build strong relationships, influencing, and presenting at a senior level.
- Expert in data and trend analysis, communication & presentation skills; problem-solving, logical reasoning and decision making, customer focus, teamwork.
- Good command of the English language.
