- ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
- Position Summary
Manages and oversees overall plant operations which may include finance, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, quality assurance/control, human resources and information systems. Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. May be required to meet certain certifications in field. - Essential to this Position
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the manufacturing site(s) including safety, quality, cost, manufacturing, engineering, materials, human resources, and information systems. Drive performance metrics through the execution of goals and objectives. Implement solutions to improve all aspects of the business unit.
- Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead day to day operations of the facility including EH&S, distribution, production, profitability, quality, and scheduling.
- Build a high performing workforce in which individual contributions are maximized through collaborative efforts.
- Establish and implement organizational policies, processes, and procedures.
- Implement flexible manufacturing systems to meet changing customer needs that maintain a standard of reliability and reduces the cost of conversion.
- Identify capital requirements to deploy technologies that are adaptive and developmental in maintaining a competitive position.
- Confer with plant personnel to review activity and operating reports to determine changes in programs or operations.
- Oversee continuous improvement activities supporting LEAN manufacturing and establishing continuous improvement teams to targeted areas of improvement.

- Required Skills
8 years as a Operations / Plant Manager of a corrugated sheet plant or similar packaging converting operation - Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes in a value added corrugated printing company preferred
- Experience leading safety, 5s and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience leading supervisors and not afraid to roll up sleeves
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Bilingual English/Arabic is a must.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Start-up and multi-plant experience a plus.
