Job Description

Qanawat Digital has a need of Social Media Executive responsible for engaging Qanawat team with clients via the digital and social media space, aiming to establish and manage creative marketing agenda with the company.

You will be working with Content Strategists with the administration around creating, producing, acquiring and promoting Arabic music content (Genres: Arabic, Islamic & Entertainment). You should be sharp, a great communicator, be able to pick things up quickly, have great judgment, be hands-on about everything you do, be a top problem solver with excellent follow-up skills, be a self-starter and pay excellent attention to detail. 

In addition, you should keep abreast with the latest relevant issues, latest news and trend though social media, online articles, blogs, etc. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform content editorials and posts on the different social media mediums
  • Increase and improve engagement strategies on different social media platforms
  • Increase social media followers/ subscribers by creating attractive strategies catered to different genre
  • Cross selling on the different social media platforms and pages
  • Create page strategies, analytics, reports, etc.
  • Accountable for the regular posting and updates on social media channels.
  • Perform operational tasks related to service delivery in all digital platforms.
  • Coordinate digital media/ social media content ingestion and delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience and a passion for the social technology universe (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Flickr, blogs, G+, LinkedIn, wikis, RSS, social bookmarking, discussion forums and community software).
  • Solve assigned content delivery incidents on time, document the solution, and conduct preventive actions if any to avoid disruption.
  • Responsible for operation process optimization for digital channels.
  • Should solve daily operation related issues.
  • Provide any recommendation to improve quality of service, increase customer satisfaction, and / or reduce costs.

Job Requirements

  • Educated to degree level preferably within a digital media or music environment.
  • Highly creative and full of ideas.  
  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret information, news and data quickly in order to extract the most important and relevant information.
  • In depth knowledge and experience of using YouTube and other music platforms with extensive experience in the monetization.
  • Bright, self-motivated and driven.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Work requires professional written and verbal Arabic and English communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent follow up and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills.
