Job Description

  • Take full ownership for editing and publishing high quality written content for portals on selected projects.
  • The content Publisher will work closely with other content team members, Project Managers, Program Designers, Software Engineers, and UX/UI Designers.
  • Detailed planning and execution of weekly/monthly content schedules, monthly themes, content frequency & roll out of editorial calendar.
  • Demonstrable creative editing of various content pieces following editorial guideline & processes to maintain consistent tone of voice and style when adding and publishing high quality written content.
  • Propose copy concepts and conduct research on any given topic to produce well-researched content for publication online.
  • Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
  • Helping create style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is consistent and clear.
  • Creating admin user manuals for all content editing processes.
  • Conducting trainings to customers on using administration panels providing admin user manuals and design guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • BA degree or graduate diploma in English, communications, marketing, journalism, advertising, or a related field 
  • Impeccable grasp of both Arabic & English languages, including industry-related keywords and expressions.
  • experience of planning, writing, and editing copy/content in a professional capacity for web
  • Ability to create content that is informative, educational and engaging is a plus
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Basic technical/design literacy with respect to web development & mobile
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Basic understanding of HTML Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and other digital analytics tools
  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
  • An understanding of search engine optimization best practices.
  • Agile and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A demonstrable ability to work with a wide range of people and roles, from executives to developers.
  • Experience working with UX and Development teams will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills including prioritizing, scheduling and adapting when necessary.
