Job Description
- Overall In-charge General Item at Karachi Warehouse.
- Responsible for timely and accurate warehousing operation as per SDs.
- Responsible for ensuring that import shipments are unloaded safely and are put away in the storage area after fine quality and quantity check.
- Responsible to ensure that all deliveries are made with the stipulated timelines.
- Responsible for making arrangement of transportation to move equipment to warehouse.
- Responsible for ensuring that all equipment reaches its destination in safe condition.
- Responsible to ensure that Ware House stock and HO record are always matching.
- Responsible to ensure that all staff off the warehouse is performing their duties as per the SOPs and their JDs.
- Responsible to check courier company & Logistics company Invoices are OK or not.
- Responsible to ensure all Goods delivered safe & follow-up by Courier Company.
- Responsibility Load & Unload containers cargo Safely and correctly as per SDs or import invoice which provide by Head office.
Job Requirements
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
