Job Description
Main purpose of the Photographer role:
- To execute high-quality photography, optimize team's productivity and proper uploads for Forward; site and mobile.
Major Responsibilities:
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Execute digital photography, including planning and lighting of each individual shots, for multiple categories across fashion clothes, beauty to lifestyle and homewear
- Work proactively with on-site and remote creative teams to understand specific brand art direction
- Follow category-specific style guides to ensure consistency of image composition, surfaces, backgrounds, and lighting
- Production of consistent quality photo assets in a timely manner
- Responsible for editing an image by utilizing color separation, image manipulation, and color proofing
- Ability to work in a variety of indoor or outdoor settings
- Maintain positive and fun environment for all members of the photoshoot sessions
- Keep up the fast pace shooting and post-production to provide final images within the lead time
- Research, collaborate, and implement new techniques to improve the overall quality of the company photography

Job Requirements
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Proficiency with Canon systems or any other cameras, Profoto Lighting, Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge, Capture One, and Excel
- Current with photography trends, camera systems, and understands their benefits and limits
- Successfully adapt to production requirements of a high volume studio while maintaining established quality standards
- Strong demonstrated creative eye, sense of design in all applications of the photographic image
- Strong photography troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Positive personality and ability to give and receive constructive criticism, encourage teammates, and celebrate team successes
- Ability to work successfully with any personality type
- Ability to develop strong, synergistic relationships with a multitude of teams and personnel
- Quick learner with strong multitasking, prioritization, and organization skills
- Strong and proactive communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate logical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong work ethic to excel in a fast paced environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Photography, or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Canon systems, Lightroom, Capture One, Photoshop, Bridge
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of digital image quality and output
- Physically able to lift over 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in fashion photography or contemporary consumer goods/products
- PDF and/or Online portfolio REQUIRED
