Job Description

  • Provide ideas to attract new clients
  • Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
  • Keep prospective client database updated
  • Support in writing new business proposals
  • Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
  • Works to improve an organization’s market position and achieve financial growth.
  • Defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
  • Work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for their organization.
  • Need to find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future.
  • Help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. Call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs.
  • Plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
  • presenting new solutions and services to existing clients.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings between client decision-makers and the company’s practice leaders/Principals.
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion

Job Requirements

To be an effective business development executive, an individual must be:

  • Bachelor Degree is required preferable in Business Administration 
  • Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and/or sales.
  • Knowledge of productivity tools and software.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making.
