We’re looking for an energetic HR Specialist based in Egypt to help support our U.S. operations with recruiting, payroll coordination, employee engagement, and HR processes.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career (1–2 years experience) who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and helping organizations run smoothly. You will be a key operational partner supporting employees, managers, and leadership remotely.
Job Requirements
HR Operations & Administration
- Assist with payroll coordination and employee data accuracy
- Manage vacation, PTO, and leave tracking
- Maintain HR records and documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Recruitment & Talent Support
- Help source, screen, and coordinate interviews
- Communicate with candidates and hiring managers
- Assist with employer branding and recruiting initiatives
Policies & Training
- Support implementation of company policies and procedures
- Coordinate employee training sessions and materials
- Help reinforce company culture and employee engagement
Employee Support
- Serve as a friendly HR contact for employee questions
- Communicate clearly with employees via phone, email, and chat
- Help resolve basic HR issues proactively
Requirements
- ½–2 years HR experience (HR assistant, HR coordinator, recruiter, or similar)
- Excellent spoken and written English (must be near-fluent)
- Comfortable working U.S. hours or partial overlap
- Strong communication skills — especially phone confidence
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude, high energy, and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have (Bonus)
- Experience supporting U.S. companies or international teams
- Familiarity with payroll tools, Gusto, or ADP
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or food & beverage industries
