Job Description
- Develop and implement Health and Safety company strategy and action plans.
- Work with employees and management team to drive continuous improvement of safety culture in the workplace.
- Creating, developing and implementing HSE management system.
- Execute site safety audits.
- Lead Safety, Health and Emergency response activities.
- Provide HSE induction for all site employees.
- Train all site employees on specialized and general programs that help raise HSE culture.
- Supervising and executing accident prevention and awareness programs.
- Performs Risk assessment and accident investigation.
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine unsafe conditions & Apply the needed safety procedures.
- Prepare the HSE cost plan and budget controlling.
- Coordinate with departments heads in analyzing hazard, risk assessment, incidents
- Have authority to stop work deemed unsafe and remove from the site any employee who display unwillingness to work in a safe manner.
- Coordinate the budget allocation within the section on an ongoing basis.
- Guide staff & ensure they're acting in adherence with the established rules and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Engineering Bachelor's degree preferred civil & architecture.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Additional safety certificates is a must. (OSHA, ISO, NEBOSH…)
- Experience in residential and commercial projects is a must.
- +3 years of experience as safety manager.
- Strong management &leadership skills.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
