Job Description
- Maintain electrical equipment of the plant , follow up with engineers for major maintenance jobs and scheduling them along with production shut downs
- Reviews job orders to determine work priorities , schedules repairs, maintenance and installation of machines and equipments , makes use of reports and statistics provided by the production department in order to determine those areas requiring the most attention for improved performance
- Ensures the work quality of his department’s work so that producing equipment will turn out end products up to the specifications and tolerances set by the quality control department
- Develop and administers with the cooperation of the production deparments an effecticve preventive maintenance program designed to eliminate down time of equipment
- Ensures Efficient operation of the power plant , boilers & Utility , necessary for the distribution of electric power and water
- Analyzes the performance and cost records of his departments, locating and promptly correcting inefficient operations in order control the expenses
- Analyzes Cost studies of proposals for new ideas and equipment in his department designed to secure reduced operating costs , makes recommendations
- Maintains adequate records controls and statistics necessary to permit through regular review of his departments operating costs
- Prepares the annual operating budget for his department and submits it for review and approval to the technical manager
- Plans to provide an adequate supply and control over spare parts and other maintenance supplies
- Plans and makes recommendations to the technical manager concerning changes in organization, personnel, and equipment of the department
- Directs the training of his department employees in order to improve work performance and acquaint the employees with company policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- BSc. of Electrical Engineering
- Experience not less than 10 years in Papers Industry
- Excellent Command of English
- Excellent computer skills
