Job Description

  • Performs the full range of Treasury activities at a large corporate level.
  • Applies principles of Cash Management  and  utilizing MIS to aid management decision taking. Performs proper cash management. Prepares cash flow and cash forecast to ensure the availability of funds to cover payroll, banks’ installments, lease suppliers, payment of invoices, dividends, taxes and other commitments.
  • Develops and monitors work procedures and contract execution guidelines.
  • Coordinates and directs the preparation of treasury reports.
  • Analyzes the financial execution plan on short, medium and long term.
  • Identifies the deviation between actual and planned financial contracts execution results.
  • Manages the preparation of  all the banking documents required for contracts execution.
  • Carries out ongoing evaluation of banks’ performance and facilities to recommend necessary improvements, where applicable, in line with management instructions.
  • Coordinates the function of currency forecasting, debt strategy and banks’ relationship.
  • Assesses and manages the financial risks (FOREX and interest rate risks).
  • Generates adequate treasury reports on a timely basis.
  • Ensures profit maximization within the   financial security and stability policies of the company through achieving the required controls and fund sourcing diversification
  • Analyzes and implements operational Treasury control through coordination with different departments.
  • Supervises the follow up of contracts dispensing with banks. Justifies banks’ assignments / allocations for drawdowns.
  • Updates the treasury execution plan in the light of any macroeconomic or banking sector changes .
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting/Finance.
  • Professional qualification in Accounting/Finance (e.g. CTP/CMA) is preferable. CFA is an asset.
  • Experience 10 years’ experience in finance or accounting with at least 2 years related experience in the financial leasing at supervisory level.
  • Fluent in written and oral English.
  • Good supervisory skills and team player.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting standards, financial systems, and regulatory provisions.
  • Knowledge of cash management, investment assessment, principles and practices of corporate finance, generally accepting accounting principles, short and long-term financial forecasting and banks’ relationship management.
  • Skilled in financial modeling, economics, and finance.
  • Analytical and reporting skills.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
