Job Description

Overall Role Purpose  

The jobholder is responsible for managing the Country Manager’s calendar, making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters. In addition to providing all essential administrative support.  

Principal Accountabilities 

  • Act as the point of contact among Senior Managers, employees, clients and other external partners.
  • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information at all times.
  • Manage accommodation and travel bookings through the nominated travel agents and hotels.
  • Ensure directing & distributing all phone calls and answering back all correspondences in a timely manner.
  • Manage projects and follow-up with team members where required.
  • Provide a high level of professionalism taking into account the consideration that all DHL customers have an express requirement and are looking for instant and immediate action.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all departments and DHL network in order to supply correct and accurate information to customers internal and external at all times.
  • Assist with any administration tasks or reports as requested.
  • Manage taking minutes during meetings and run necessary follow-ups.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Should be self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Good relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office packages

Experience:

  • 6 - 10 years' experience

Educational Qualifications:    

  • Bachelor's degree
