Job Description

This job has a mix of responsibilities between quality control, health and safety control. We are looking to give this role to a well rounded Quality Specialist with a sense of leadership and eagerness to better the work environment. Here are the list of responsibilities that you will take: 

Quality Control:

  • Check the product quality during the operation of the machines and then a preliminary inspection of the products during the process of production.
  • Follow up on any problems during the operation of raw materials and supplies and make reports to the purchases and the direct manager.
  • Work to reduce the rate of loss during operation.
  • Work to reduce the rate of customer complaints (customer satisfaction).

Health and Safety Assurance: 

  • Adhering to all safety and performance regulations.
  • Provide health and safety measures in a working environment
  • Carrying out the required occupational safety and health tasks.
  • Identify and evaluate the unsafe environment and practices.
  • Develop hazard control processes, methods and programs
  • Recommend solutions to issues that need improvement
  • Monitor implementation of safety plans according to plans and objectives
  • Monitor and track safety systems by using spreadsheets
  • Communicate plans and strategies across the entire business unit from time to time
  • Maintain and manage equipment and processes related to each project of health and safety
  • Collaborate with other levels of engineering staff.
  • Measure and audit the effectiveness of hazard control programs.
  • Prepare future safety plans based on past experiences and facts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or relevant fields
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a related post in manufacturing or assembly line
  • Very good knowledge of industrial health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent English spoken and written
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good management skills
