Job Description
Job Purpose
Responsible for a complete network BSS & RAN function (site level), 2G/3G/LTE ensuring that they support business plan achievement and contribute to the development and refinement of network strategy.
Job Responsilities:
- Responsible about BSS sites design, implementation and roadmap for 2G/3G/LTE are in line with company strategy and industry migration.
- Prepare & study the needed design, solution and budget to support the data forecast for company per action monthly/quarterly.
- Leading and managing the needed CRs for all planning stakeholders as mitigation plan for the equipment shortage & delivery delaying.
- Revise and approve all the RFS, PAC, Invoices for all 2G/3G Sites and Expansions on time to enhance the Vendor relation BSS Swap projects/Modernization.
- Plan modernization projects between different vendors, and prepare analysis, case study, benefits & draw back for any projects.
- Establish all swap scenarios & single RAN projects.
- Lead & manage LTE & U900 readiness projects, and control the different swap scenarios between all vendors E2E from planning, implementation, acceptance and closure POV.
- Develop & establish new projects to utilize the different phases to save CAPEX & OPEX (Huawei – Ericsson – ZTE).
- Responsible ANP budget in correlations with ANP dashboard to keep the dashboard projects running without material obstacles and ensure the optimum Plan across all ANP sections.
- Execute and track the progress of the current equipment processes related to (ordering/delivery/ planning/control/utilize/reuse) to achieve high efficiency of technical operation.
- Prepare BOQs request & cooperation with different vendors to close all open issue that may affect the company target.
- Responsible for BSS & RF equipment management process E2E from ordering, delivery, planning, control, utilization & reuse plans.
- Managing the ERP inventory system technical modules.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Communications Engineering.
- 6-8 years of experience.
- Telecom BSS architecture and design management with specific experience and expertise in integrating Solution with power planning teams.
- RF planning and optimization experience.
- RF Experience -BSS Experience - Site solution Experience
- Radio access & capacity planning experience.
- RF & optimization experience.
- UMTS/GSM Networks Understanding.
- Must have commercial background understanding the BOQ (HW/SW) cost components involved in the E2E BSS solutions.
- Multi-vendor equipment experience (Huawei – Ericsson – ZTE - NSN).
