Junior Electrical Procurement Engineer

• Apply Colas Rail Egypt’s purchasing policy by integrating the specific needs of its customers.

• Under the supervision of his/her hierarchy, execute the entire Purchasing Process for local Purchasing.

• Contribute to the planification and the good execution of the Purchasing Kick-off meetings

• Support in Supplier sourcing, Supplier pre-qualification, and Supplier evaluation activities

• Prepare RFQ and organize consultations with selected suppliers

• Prepare and report the analysis of offers to his/her hierarchy (TCO).

• Based on the TCO analysis, propose the purchasing recommendation to his/her hierarchy.

• Negotiate with suppliers, monitor exchanges (supplier offers, clarification, and PR,) and update TCO accordingly

• Make sure of the good reception of the acknowledgments of receipt of the Purchase orders.

• Edit the orders in the purchasing software and ensure the logistical, administrative, and contractual follow-up in

collaboration with his/her hierarchy, project management, and support services (including transit)

• Create and update the supplier profile in the purchased software by complying with the purchasing procedure

• Prepare the supplier list and make sure to update it regularly with the scope and contact persons for each supplier.

• Extract data from the purchasing software on regular basis.

• Follow up the logistics/ customs clearance activity with regular reporting to his/her hierarchy.

• Follow up on the goods reception on the purchasing software by coordinating with the warehouse team.

• Support in the costing of tenders by consulting suppliers or price estimates

• Follow up on the "Framework Contract" activities and their implementation.

• Participate in events and exhibitions to enlarge the Suppliers’ network
