Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

1-3 years of experience
Hands on experience in data modeling and pipeline design and development.
Hands on experience in building and training Machine learning models
Concepts of Overfitting, Regularization, Hyper-parameter Tuning, Cross-Validation
Knowledge in SQL , SQL performance tuning , Teradata is a plus.
Understanding of Probability Theory and Statistical Analysis
Knowledge of some ETL tools like Data Stage
Programming skills in python (Numpy, pandas, sklearn, Tensorflow, pytorch)
Fast learner ,can contribute from day one as well as integrate and apply new concepts quickly.
Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of Big Data concepts (Hadoop, Spark, Scala)
Knowledge of Imapala and Hive
Knowledge of Linux and Bash script
