Job Description

Student Admission:

  • Know and follow the school’s Admissions Policy and Procedures with accuracy
  • To manage students’ admission process as highlighted in the school admission policy.
  • Be the first point and continual point of contact with all prospective families
  • Assist in the development, maintenance and execution of the department’s communication plan to prospective and admitted students.
  • Organize and administer required admissions assessments
  • Organize and conduct student and parent interviews, coordinating with school leadership
  • Liaison with school Head, coordinators and teaching staff the organizing of admission exams and reaching final decisions.
  • Keep accurate, organized, pertinent, confidential files for each prospective student, which will include required documentation, interview notes, and assessments
  • Keep records of all students admitted at the school complying with the requirements of the Egyptian ministry of education for international schools.
  • Registers incoming students and processes enrollment materials; completes data entry on computer; coordinates services and information with sending/receiving schools and Ministry of Education; completes procedures for students withdrawing from the school.

Students Affairs Communication:

  • Maintaining regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintains student attendance records or monitors maintenance of records.
  • Contacting parents concerning questionable absences of students.
  • Maintains records and files for student information.
  • Maintains student records on database.
  • Responsible for the examination process, Receive the examination answer papers from the educational administration.
  • Receive the examination results from the educational administration.
  • Responsible for transfer papers.
  • Responsible for student online registration.
  • Responsible for receiving the ministry books from the educational administration.
  • Responsible for the examination process

Welcoming Parent and Guests:

  • Answers phone calls in a pleasant, informed manner for the purpose of providing information and creating a good image of the district
  • Manages telephone message system (office hours, inclement weather and other recorded messages)
  • Greets visitors to the school in a pleasant and informed manner
  • Responds to inquiries for the purpose of referrals and directions as may be required
  • Forwards requests for information and messages to the appropriate individuals
  • Maintains office hours meeting, per teachers or Pedagogical Leadership Team, held at school
  • Assists personnel with the emailing and distribution of various documents and communication
  • Performs other clerical tasks as assigned including word processing and creating databases, etc.
  • Any other related duties assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

  • Experience 3+ years. Preferably at schools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Full fluency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing
  • Strong speaking and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with Google Drive and/or Microsoft Word products with ease, especially PowerPoint and Google Presentations
  • Organizational and management skills
  • Experience with international curricula preferred
  • Experience and/or knowledge of International Baccalaureate programs preferred
  • Background in sales and/or marketing would be helpful
