Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Logistics Officer located in Marsa Alam, Egypt. As a Logistics Officer at SGM, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the procurement, transportation, and distribution of materials to ensure smooth operations at the Sukari Gold Mine.
Job Requirements
• Manage overseas procurement activities with a solid understanding of Incoterms.
• Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with ACID process requirements for importing regulations.
• Handle inland logistics operations, including transportation and material handling.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to optimize the logistics workflow.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP User
- Should have a good background in the process of purchasing and logistics
- Experience in dealing with shipping lines.
- Previous experience in freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes and import/export regulations.
