Job Description
- Preparing financial analyses and reports.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
- Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
- Follow up on Accounts receivable and payments.
- Checking late payments, accounts and sending reminders.
- Assist in preparing the taxation reports.
- Contributing to developing new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
- Communicate with the Manager on work status and client issues that arise.
- Follow up vendor accounts.
Job Requirements
- BS/BA in Accounting/Finance.
- 3-5 yrs. of experience of which 2 yrs. Of proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Retail Fashion Experience is a #Must
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Tax Law in Egypt.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Detail-oriented.
- strong financial analysis skills.
- Awareness of business trends.
