Job Description
- Prepares the 3-5 years plan, yearly budget and monthly forecast for the group including project CAPEX plan per business line.
- Ensures department managers meet budget submission deadlines accurately.
- Submits to the top management weekly, monthly and yearly reports per business line including comparison reports with comprehensive analysis.
- Presents on monthly bases the actual Vs budget Vs prior year with proper comments to the management team.
- Reports and resolves any issue appearing during reviewing expenditures.
- Monitors the budget throughout the year to control spending and to be sure that spending complies with company policy and procedure.
- Reviews and approves expenditures, ensures aligning with controls and within the budget.
- Continues to improve budgeting policy and procedure.
- Suggests, defends and follows up on cost-cutting and revenue increase ideas.
- Designs effective cost models for land, projects, assets and services.
- Responsible for bank reconciliation
Job Requirements
- BA in Accounting, IFRS and Egyptian accounting standard knowledge is a must.
- CMA is a plus.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, and/or as a Financial Analyst.
- Excellent computer skills on MS Office and database.
- ERP Oracle knowledge is an advantage.
- A well organized, disciplined, detail-oriented, strong numerical ability, effective communication skill, a persistent and persuasive individual with the ability to identify/focus on key issues, prioritize efforts and ensure follow up with timely/quality results.
