Job Description
- Oversee and guide consultants’ design progress activities and deliverables timeframe.
- Responsible for reviewing MEP design and ensuring the design is aligned with the local regulations and internal codes.
- Leading value engineering process with consultants.
- Liaise with the supervision team at site and monitoring the site progress.
- Provide reports to line manager of the site progress status and issues.
- Follow-up the consultants approvals at site and ensure no delay on RFIs.
- Organize/lead design review meetings, workshops and reports during design phases.
- Prepare meeting minutes and follow up to achieve identified actions.
- Prepare and issue RFP’s; evaluate proposals.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Good user of engineering computer software (AutoCAD - Revit and other MEP software).
- Familiar with all the MEP methodologies as well as the corresponding equipment, materials, consumables, tools and manpower allocations related to MEP works for building projects such as Residential/commercial building an infrastructure.
- Knowledge of international standards, codes, and regulations.
- Knowledge in the latest computer-aided/design soft wares, standards, all local authorities’ rules and regulations, authority licenses /certifications.
