Job Description
- Participate, contribute & assist with the Information Security Manager in planning & organizing the information security initiatives with a vision for the future of information Security at the Bank.
- Assist the information Security Manager in establishing budget plans in terms of Bank’s information security activities.
- Contribute to the planning & development of Information Security training & awareness programs & deliver them.
- Advise, & recommend security features for IT hardware architecture & infrastructure requirements for various information systems.
- Advise on the application of IT security policy, procedures & standards.
- Perform penetration testing of all systems in order to identify system vulnerabilities.
- Investigate incidents raised by our SOC team for computer & network access control systems to detect attempts at unauthorized use.
- Implement & maintain enforcement of policies, procedures & associated plans for system security administration & user system access based on industry-standard best practices.
- Monitor & report on security system & end user activity audits.
- Investigate incidents raised by our SOC team for server logs, firewall logs, intrusion detection logs, & network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity. Interpret activity & make recommendations for resolution.
- Schedule, & perform security improvements, upgrades, & / or purchases.
- Conduct internal bank’s activities pertaining to the investigation, correction, needed for the resolution of information security breaches, violations, & incidents.
- Perform periodic Bank’s risk assessments that identify current & future security vulnerabilities, help determine what level of risk is acceptable to management, & identify & recommend the best ways to reduce information security risks to this acceptable level.
- Act as the central point of contact within the Bank when it comes to all communications dealing with information security problems, issues, & concerns.
- Analyze the information security trends & makes appropriate recommendations to IT department & IT Security Manager for new security initiatives.
- Identify & recommend on appropriate access rights are available to user in the Bank.
- Identify security violations, security risks & vulnerabilities to the attention of Information Security Manager.
- Coordinate & direct the development, management approval, implementation, & promulgation of objectives, goals, policies, standards, guidelines, & other requirements needed to support information security throughout the Bank as well as within the Bank’s business networks.
- Act as the primary liaison & decision-maker regarding the work of information security consultants, contractors, & outsourcing firms.
- Manage & carry out special projects related to information security which may be needed to appropriately respond to ad-hoc or unexpected information security events.
Job Requirements
- University degree in computer Science; IT or equivalent.
- Minimum 4-6 year experience in a similar position.
- Good command of both English & Arabic language.
- Soft Ware & Hardware knowledge.
- Experience in the banking sector is a Must
