Job Description
- Manage and supervise the purchase of steel finished products and/or raw materials
- Manage and supervise the purchase of generators spare parts and paints for towers
- Oversee the purchase of any needed chemicals requested by Factory
- Responsible for managing the purchasing of tires, batteries and stain-list fasteners
- Manage the purchase of fire extinguishers for the locations needing it
- Ensure the purchase of all needed tools such as electrical tools, health and safety tools, workshop tools, and hand tools
- Manage all requirements and needs by Factory, warehouse, and working sites and projects
- Oversee the towers Anti-Fooling Systems and Towers Maintenance by purchasing what is required by the employees conducting the job.
- Oversee any service contracts with the service providers or suppliers
- Ensure that the procured equipment, materials, and systems are complying with the projects’ quality and specification requirements
- Evaluate new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiate purchase agreements with them
- Review delivery orders and evaluate availability, lead times, and manufacturing processes needs
- Negotiate purchases to ensure that the lowest cost is consistent with company standards for quality products
- Research alternate sources for products in order to ensure the most competitive pricing
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the field of procurement
