Job Description
- They should be able to meet with clients, listen to their project specifications and translate requests into designs.
- Tracking and managing Evalueserve team of designers with focus on optimal utilization and efficiency.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations in the design department. This also involves hiring staff, conducting performance assessments, and order design resources.
- The key aspects of this role will be thorough understanding of the right balance between business, design and our clients and serving our as well as client’s brand standards.
- Act as a coach, provide feedback and help the team grow through clear communication, appropriate delegation and targeted intervention to ensure high quality output
- Manages publishing support projects for Evalueserve and its clients by;
- Identifying practical, timely and innovative project approaches;
- Clarifying project objectives with internal/external customers to ensure superior customer service standards throughout all interactions;
- Evaluates data representation and visualization standards.
- Execute complex requests requiring greater knowledge of relevant industry, topics and new technological trends
- Demonstrate domain knowledge and thought leadership while dealing with the client team Client’s Manager, Specialists and EVS Global Account Managers
- As a team leader the responsibilities will include to present designs using typography, iconography, color, space and texture. The hands-on knowledge, expertise and skills in all these fields will be preferred.
- Conducts and Initiates various training, allied activities with the team and the group.
- Keeping track of iterations and rework and ensuring team performance is measured on regular basis.
- Understanding and helping the sub-teams implement particular brand across documents/design solutions.
- Will be responsible for providing increased design direction and creative value add on projects.
- Enabling process improvement, change and increasing efficiency with training and development.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of six years of professional experience in designing brand identities, grid systems, and layouts
- The candidate should have creative flair, along with communication and articulation skills and ability to multi-task.
- Need deep expertise in specialized tools, domains, storytelling, conceptualization and campaign management
- Should have flair to work across industry sectors and good business acumen.
- The candidate should have experience of working with middle east region especially in designing in B2B communication material
- Experience in diverse design teams across various global locations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of, and experience in, managing publishing or design teams in any industry.
- Knowledge of Arabic language and typography will be preferred.
- Awareness of middle east culture especially KSA is required
- Ability to understand the different industries and varying the project management to suit its needs.
- Cultivating relationships of mutual cooperation and respect for organizational benefit with various stakeholders
Education and experience
- University degree (preferable a design/arts degree) from a reputed institute with 8 or more years of experience in managing publishing or creative teams.
